Due Date

So, after my first OB appointment this pregnancy, we were left with a little surprise. This entire time we thought I was 8-10 weeks pregnant. After an ultrasound, the doc decided I'm closer to 12 weeks pregnant. Hence my due date is July 23, 2009 instead of the middle of August. That means I'm 3 months pregnant! Only 7 more to go! That's a pleasant surprise. The less time pregnant during a Texas summer the better! So, hurray for ultrasounds!

Baby!

Just a quick post to let everyone know, we're having another baby! We found out I was pregnant just a few weeks ago. My first OB appointment isn't for another 2 weeks, so we don't have an official due date yet. However, if our estimates are right, I'll be due in August (2009). All of the boys think it is girl. I would love to have a girl, but I have an inkling that it might be another boy. We'll just have to wait and see. Seth has already started picking out names, his favorite is Sari (from Transformers Animated). Well, just wanted to let everyone know. We'll keep you updated.

Oh, The Things They Say!

Seth: "Aubrey, say 'Awesome'."
Aubrey: "Awesum."
Seth: "Say 'I'm cool'."
Aubrey: "No, I Awesum!"

We were outside on a hot day at the park and the boys were all sweaty. Seth wiped sweat off of his forehead and wanted me to smell it. He said, "Mom, smell this! I smell like nature." I declined and he continued, "You know mom everyone smells like nature when they sweat." (6/18/10)

Josh and Seth were walking in a circle while eating a snack. Aaron asked what they were doing. Seth replied, “We are doing what you do when you talk on the phone.” (Aaron paces while he talks.)(1/22/09)

One night when we were reading scriptures (the Old Testament Reader), we came to the story of Joshua. Aaron said, “Look Joshua! Your name is in the scriptures!” Josh grabbed the book to look. He then said, “Look Dad! I’m in the scriptures!” and he stuck his face in the book. So cute! (2/14/09)
