A Girl with Glasses Update

Some of you may remember the glasses post that I did to support a little girl unsure of getting her first pair of glasses and starting kindergarten at the same time. For anyone interested, her mom posted an update of Pumpkin rocking her TWO new pairs of glasses. (Check it out here at This Mama Makes Stuff.) Now, I totally want both pairs of those glasses!

Oh, The Things They Say!

Seth: "Aubrey, say 'Awesome'."
Aubrey: "Awesum."
Seth: "Say 'I'm cool'."
Aubrey: "No, I Awesum!"

We were outside on a hot day at the park and the boys were all sweaty. Seth wiped sweat off of his forehead and wanted me to smell it. He said, "Mom, smell this! I smell like nature." I declined and he continued, "You know mom everyone smells like nature when they sweat." (6/18/10)

Josh and Seth were walking in a circle while eating a snack. Aaron asked what they were doing. Seth replied, “We are doing what you do when you talk on the phone.” (Aaron paces while he talks.)(1/22/09)

One night when we were reading scriptures (the Old Testament Reader), we came to the story of Joshua. Aaron said, “Look Joshua! Your name is in the scriptures!” Josh grabbed the book to look. He then said, “Look Dad! I’m in the scriptures!” and he stuck his face in the book. So cute! (2/14/09)
